Making money online isn’t easy, but it definitely beats working a 9-5 and having to spend hours commuting to work every day. From my experience, marketing is the best way to earn an honest living on the Internet. Many believe the best way to market is to purchase ad spaces on search engines or to send out mass e-mails, but from my experience, ad publishing is where all the money is at. Even though it’s somewhat easy to find the most popular ad networks online, it’s important to try all of them out before settling down. Just as I was searching for the next network to jump into, I came across River Traffic and was very excited to see what it had to offer.
Before making my account, I had to make sure that what I was getting myself into was worth my time. The first thing I looked into was just how popular the ad network was, and I was pretty impressed by the results. As it turns out, River Traffic has 135 million daily ad impressions, 800 active publishers, and 1,300 active campaigns, which was genuinely all the information I needed to get interested in reviewing it. I’ve also read a bit about the smart tech that the site claims to have, which helps users enlarge their business rapidly, but I’m not going to believe it until I test it out myself, so I went on over to the registration page to start making cash as soon as possible.
I have absolutely no problem spending a bit of time making a new account, especially if it’s for a service that’ll help me earn a good living. Unfortunately, most websites make the registration process a huge hassle by requiring unnecessary information to be filled out. I’d understand a few quick questions for security reasons, but these damn sites add so much stuff to fill out that the entire registration process takes ten times longer than it should have. Although I was annoyed and dreading the moment I had to waste time making an account, once I got onto the River Traffic registration page, I was blown away by the simplicity of it.
Not only was the registration page pretty sleek and modern, but it was also very minimalistic and intuitive to browse through. Instead of having to waste time answering dumb questions, River Traffic was very straightforward and only required the most basic information necessary to create an account. This includes the basics such as your account type, which basically tells them whether you’re looking to be an advertiser or a publisher, e-mail, password, messaging app, and contact information. From then on, all I had to do was verify and get approved, and I could freely enter my dashboard and begin making cash. Although there wasn’t an option to register through your Google account, the registration process was still incredibly simple and fast compared to most ad networks I’ve visited.
Once I got the chance to fool around with the tools, I was excited to see what ad formats were available on River Traffic. To my surprise, there was everything I was looking for, from in-page push ads and pop-unders to video pre-rolls, sliders, and native video ads. It’s also great to know that River Traffic networks with industries from 180 countries and geo targets, as well as bot filtering and fraud prevention, which means that I’m guaranteed secure and relevant traffic sources. Starting an ad campaign is incredibly easy as well, and there’s even a real-time bidding system that’s fully transparent and very intuitive.
Data and statistics are extremely important as they can tell you exactly which actions you make end up earning you as much cash as possible. Thankfully, River Traffic has detailed real-time statistics for both advertisers and publishers, which can be accessed in a matter of seconds. It’s also worth mentioning that although this ad network is easy for a veteran like me to use if you’re new to the industry, you might be a bit confused at first. Luckily, River Traffic has phenomenal customer support that’ll help you with what’s troubling you 24/7. I rarely use services like these, but I felt the need to contact the support and test them out. To my surprise, I got an answer incredibly fast, and I was able to talk to someone who was genuinely knowledgeable.
Making a lot of money is worthless unless you’ve got ways to pull it out, and I’m glad to see that River Traffic offers a plethora of different payment options to its users. Personally, I love using Payoneer, but you could also go with other online services such as Paxum and Webmoney. Since these are electronic payment options, they are instant, but you can also wire the money directly to your bank, which will take around a week. Although electronic payment options are instant, you still won’t be able to collect your hard-earned money at any time since River Traffic rolls out its payments twice a month, on the 1st and the 15th.
Out of all the ad networks I’ve used, almost all of them have a minimum payout amount required before you can get your cash, and River Traffic is no different. Now, even though you have to make a certain amount of cash before you can receive it, that amount is only $100, so you’ll have no trouble making the threshold twice a month when the payouts are rolled out. The only time you should be worried about the payout threshold is if you’re using bank transfers because, for some odd reason, banks require a minimum of $1,000 before you can be paid out. Other than these few little details, there’s not much else that you need to know about payments, as it’s a rather intuitive process.
After spending a good amount of time on this ad network, I can safely say that it’s a great option for those just starting out in this business. Even though it has its flaws and despite not being the best ad network available, I still believe that it should be given a chance at least once. I only wish that River Traffic was a bit more transparent regarding how much they charge clients and what the publisher requirements are, but other than that, I have nothing else to complain about.
What I love most about the network is just how user-friendly it is. From the dashboard and the real-time bidding to the phenomenal customer service that’s available 24/7. Although the tools that the network provides are great, earning money in this industry is still quite difficult as it’s a competitive space, so if you’re thinking of starting out, I’d only suggest it if you’re genuinely determined to make it. If you think you’re ready to start making a living online and using ad networks, I highly recommend registering with River Traffic and using the service to its full potential. Oh, and remember, if you’re ever stuck on a problem, just contact their support, and all of your issues will quickly get fixed.
